Mack Brown and the UNC football program took a step forward in the recruitment for a three-star offensive tackle recently.
Ethan Calloway took to Twitter to cut his list of 17 offers down to a final 8 as he will focus on the following schools; North Carolina, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Penn State, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida State.
The Mooresville, North Carolina native has become a big target for the Tar Heels as they look to boost the offensive line in the 2024 class. While they made the top 8, there will be some tough competition as you can see in the teams above.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Calloway is ranked No. 215 nationally, No. 19 offensive tackle and the No. 4 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
There is no timetable for a decision from Calloway.
