The FFL team discusses a few headlines ahead of the Patriots vs. Steelers.

JASON FITZ: And let’s take a look first, though, at the “Thursday Night Football” matchup that we get. And I’m talking the matchup of the year, the one you’ve been waiting for, the juggernaut, two of the biggest brands. I’m trying to sell this thing. It sucks. Patriots taking on the Steelers. You see the records there. The Patriots are a 5 and 1/2 point dog in this one. And then the most amazing part of this, the point spread on this. The over/under is at 30, at 30. And I feel like hammer the under.
Here are some of the inactives you need to know about– Rhamondre Stevenson, Demario Douglas, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Najee Harris. We also have now found out that DeVante Parker will be inactive. So a lot of guys missing from this. And frankly, a lot of guys missing from this from the Patriots at a time where maybe they’re not that interested in winning football games. I’m just saying. Conspiracy theorists might wonder if maybe the inactive list looks sort of like they’re trying to get that top pick in the draft. In the meantime, Matt Harmon, give us something you’ve got your eye on in this juggernaut of a matchup.
MATT HARMON: Oh, man, where to begin? So many sexy matchups, so many potential really tantalizing storylines. No, listen, I am actually interested to see if the Steelers can get their run game back on track because that had been a group that was really, you know, for Steelers adjusted standards, kind of cooking of late. Now we’ve got Najee Harris coming in banged up off a performance last week where the Steelers ranked dead last in rushing EPA. And that was a great matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
I’m pretty sure one of us idiots, this idiot, said like, oh, yeah, both Steelers running backs, great start against the Cardinals. And, look, that game was very stop and start literally, stop and start. I couldn’t believe it was still going on by the late afternoon. But…
