Week 17 NFL games to binge, stream and skip

Yahoo Sports’ Matt Harmon runs through the three games that stood out on this week’s schedule – and whether or not he’ll bother to watch them.

MATT HARMON: Here are the games you need to binge, stream, and skip in week 17 of the NFL season, starting with your binge game. It’s got to be Dolphins at Ravens. How is this a 1:00 PM Eastern game? How are we not in a situation where we can get more eyeballs, more iso attention on this game? I don’t know. But I do know that there’s so much I want to see in this game.

Obviously, your passing games here are extremely enthralling for different reasons. Can Tyreek Hill put up a big number against this electric, suffocating Baltimore Ravens defense in order to push himself back into that MVP conversation? That’s certainly worth watching. No Jaylen Waddle likely in this game. Does that mean that De’Von Achane has to step back up as an explosive complement to Raheem Morris?

And on the Ravens side, this game is huge for Baltimore. If they win, they clinch home-field advantage, which is obviously critical as they head to the postseason. Man, this is just also equally as crucial for Lamar Jackson. He can push himself into officially just the driver’s seat of the MVP conversation with a win in this game.

I love Zay Flowers in this matchup. I love what he has shown all season as a route runner. And they’re finally getting him more involved in the intermediate area. I think he’s in for a big performance here in week 17.

Now your game to stream, “Sunday Night Football,” Packers-Vikings. I just want to see more of the Packers’ young offense. If they win this game, they’re in a pretty decent spot to make a potential playoff push. They’re not a lock or anything like that. But it is a good spot for them to make some hay here. But man, I mean, Jordan Love is playing well, despite his receiver corps, just guys off and on. If Jayden Reed suits up in this game, I think he’s going to be critical to beating the blitz on the…
