[MUSIC PLAYING]JASON FITZ: There were some amazing performances that delivered teams one step closer to football glory. Thanks to our friends at Amazon Prime, we want to single out two individuals who really delivered. Frank, get weird with me. Whatever the word “delivered” means to you, who delivered the most this weekend?
FRANK SCHWAB: I think I’m going to go with Travis Kelce’s girlfriend. It’s Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift is going to the Super Bowl. Now, look, she’s got a long way to go. There are some logistics involved here, Fitz, with Taylor Swift making the Super Bowl. If people haven’t known about this already, Taylor Swift, she’s on the Eras Tour, right? Maybe you’ve heard about that.
She’s going to be in Tokyo doing shows Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. She’s going to get done with her last show in Tokyo about 5:00 in the morning Las Vegas time on Saturday. Taylor’s likely going to get on a plane, come to Las Vegas, land on Saturday, watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at the Super Bowl. If you are that upset about Taylor Swift being on your TV screen for three seconds at a time, you’re not the person for me. I love this story.
I want to see more of Taylor Swift. I hope she gets on that plane from Tokyo to Las Vegas. I heard Nicole Auerbach over at “USA Today” made the joke, “Taylor Swift has been in the NFL for one year, and she’s already going to a Super Bowl.” I love that line. I’m going with it. Taylor Swift delivered. She’s going all the way to the Super Bowl. And I hope she makes it from her show in Tokyo in time to cheer on Travis Kelce.
