Former 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is returning to the NFC West.
The Los Angeles Rams are signing Garoppolo to a one-year contract, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Friday, citing a source.

Garoppolo spent parts of six seasons with the 49ers from 2017 to 2022 before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders before the 2023 NFL season.
The 31-year-old quarterback is suspended for the first two games of the 2024 season after violating the NFL’s performence-enhancing substance policy.
