With Fields in Pittsburgh, there’s no longer even a shred of doubt that the Bears will select a new rookie QB this year. However, debate remains as to whether that rookie can succeed from day one, or if that rookie is doomed to the same fate as every other quarterback in Chicago since Sid Luckman.
