The puck drops on the 2024 Stanley Cup Final this Saturday when the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers clash for the right to have their name engraved on Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers is the current Conn Smythe Trophy favorite for playoff MVP, and he leads a skilled offense featuring Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard, Zach Hyman and more. The Oilers dispatched the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars on the road to their first Final appearance since 2006.
Last season’s Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers return to the Final this season to finish the job, after losing to the Vegas Golden Knights last season. Matthew Tkachuk, Aleksander Barkov, Sergei Bobrovsky and crew knocked off the Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers on their road through the Eastern Conference.
The Panthers are the opening favorite at ESPN BET in both the series and Game 1.
