Alabama lands commitment from elite, 2025 5-star CB Dijon Lee Jr.

The Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff made another statement on the recruiting trail on Friday. 2025 five-star cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. announced that he committed to Alabama over other programs like the Georgia Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies, and Washington Huskies.

Lee Jr. is regarded as one of the top cornerbacks in the country in the ’25 recruiting class. National recruiting analyst Greg Biggins of 247Sports had the following to say in his evaluation of Lee Jr.:

“Lee is one of the longest corners in the country, pushing 6-4, 190 pounds. We could see him transition to safety at the college level but most schools like him at corner and that’s his desired position as well. Can smother an opposing receiver at the line of scrimmage and is very good in press coverage.”

Biggins also had high praise for his skill set and abilities, arguing that he’s a tough player to outsmart and beat in the physical aspect of the game

“Has good feet and change of direction for a tall corner and is rarely beaten over the top. Can get in and out of his breaks and gets his hands on a lot of balls. Is physical in run support and isn’t afraid to get downhill and lay a big hit on a running back. Is a smart, heady player as well, understands the game and has the positional versatility to be an impact player at multiple spots in the secondary, which gives him even more value.”

Lee Jr. hails from Mission Viejo, California. He is the fourth prospect from California to commit to Alabama as a member of the 2025 recruiting class. He is also the highest-ranked recruit to commit to the Crimson Tide as a part of the 2025 recruiting class.
