Kansas State football adds pledge from four-star Blue Valley Northwest offensive lineman

Kansas State football picked up another important commitment Thursday when Blue Valley Northwest offensive lineman Brock Heath announced that he will join the Wildcats as the 11th member of their 2025 recruiting class.

“After a long recruiting process, I am happy to say I’ve found a home in Manhattan and am committed to Kansas State University,” Heath wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Heath, who visited K-State on the weekend of June 14, is the highest-ranked pledge so far for the Wildcats, holding a four-star rating from On3 and ESPN, while 247Sports and Rivals give him three stars. On3 and 247Sports also list him as the seventh-best player in Kansas.

More impressive is the list of suitors the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Heath turned down to pick K-State. In addition to Big 12 rivals Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor and Utah, he had offers from Iowa, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota and Nebraska in the Big Ten, plus Missouri and Arkansas in the SEC.

Heath is K-State’s third in-state commitment, joining Derby cornerback Martel Jackson and Blue Valley linebacker Maguire Richman. He also is the second offensive lineman, along with Will Kemna from Jefferson City, Missouri.

K-State hopes to land an even bigger pledge Monday when Goodland five-star tight end Linkon Cure announces his decision. Cure will decide between the Wildcats, Kansas, Oregon and Texas A&M.

Working in the Wildcats’ favor is the fact that Chris Klieman and his staff were the first to offer Cure, a lifelong K-State fan. Cure completed his official visits last weekend in Manhattan.
