Jesse Simonton of On3 recently ranked what he believes will be the top 10 games within the SEC this season. LSU has two games that have cracked the top 10.
Coming in at No. 6 on the top 10 list is LSU’s game against Ole Miss. Last season, the Tigers traveled to Oxford, Mississippi, with a 3-1 record after losing to Florida State and then beating Grambling State, Mississippi State and Arkansas. In a game full of offensive firepower, Ole Miss came out on top 55-49. The Tigers will be looking for redemption this year.
Coming in at No. 5 on the list is the annual Alabama vs LSU game. The last time Alabama came to Baton Rouge Jayden Daniels and LSU stunned the Tide in double overtime with a gutsy two-point conversion play to win the game and eventually win the SEC West. This will be the first year without Nick Saban so it will be interesting to see how the Tide looks this fall.
