EA Sports College Football 25 ratings: Who are Oklahoma Sooners’ top 10 players?

After over a decade of waiting, the EA Sports College Football 25 video game released Monday.

OU football had two players ranked in EA Sports College Football 25’s top 100 players ranking released last week.

Veteran defensive returners linebacker Danny Stutsman and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. were ranked as the No. 52 and No. 94-ranked players, respectively, in the video game that releases July 19. Stutsman is rated 91 overall, while Bowman came in at 90 overall.

Stutsman’s ratings included 81 speed, 91 acceleration, 78 strength, 97 awareness and 88 jump. Bowman boasts 94 speed, 97 acceleration, 65 strength, 88 awareness and 93 jump in the game.

Stutsman ranks as the No. 2 middle linebacker in the game behind Iowa’s Jay Higgins, while Bowman is ranked as the fourth-best strong safety. 29 of the top 100 players play in the Southeastern Conference.

Bowman and Stutsman are two of the three players who will represent the Sooners at SEC Media Days Tuesday in Dallas.

In EA Sports College Football 25’s top 25 overall team rankings, OU is ranked No. 17 with a rating of 87 overall. The Sooners rank behind six SEC teams including Georgia (No. 1), Alabama (No. 4), Texas (No. 5), LSU (No. 8), Texas A&M (No. 14) and Mississippi (No. 15).
