Which Ohio State football players are not in EA Sports College Football 25?

EA Sports College Football 25 is out. And some key pieces of Ohio State’s 2024 roster are missing.

Defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau, offensive tackle Josh Simmons and tight end Jelani Thurman headline the group of Buckeyes that are not on OSU’s roster when the game was released Monday.

Without players such as Tuimoloau, Simmons and Thurman, Ohio State still is the No. 2 team in EA Sports College Football 25 at 93 overall. The Buckeyes have the best defense in the video game at 96 overall, better than teams including Georgia (94), Oregon (90), Alabama (90) and Michigan (90). The Buckeyes have the fifth-best offense in the game at 89 overall, and are behind Georgia (94), Oregon (94), Alabama (91) and Texas (91).

Among the reasons behind certain players not being in the first release in the game would be that they did not sign EA Sports’ Name, Image and Likeness deal to appear, or that they did not meet the deadline for the first release of players.

It remains unclear if the Ohio State players left off the initial roster will be added to the roster in the future.

Here’s what we know about the Ohio State players not in EA Sports College Football 25.
