What does Alabama football’s Jalen Milroe think of EA Sports College Football 25?

Alabama football’s Jalen Milroe did not own a video game console prior to the release of EA Sports College Football 25.

Upon release of the newest installment of the EA Sports franchise last week, the Crimson Tide quarterback quickly changed that. It is the first installment of the franchise in over a decade, with it being brought back due to implementation of name, image, and likeness in college sports. Milroe, along with his other Alabama teammates, opted to be in the game in February, earning them a minimum of $600 along with a free version of the game.

“I think it’s pretty cool because now I have my first PS5 and I have video games, this is my first time having one,” Milroe said on Saturday while hosting a CFB 25 video game release community party. “Now to have the opportunity to play CFB 25 is really fun, especially playing with a lot of people. We’ve been waiting for so long to have the game. It’s awesome to have our own roster and players, it’s really cool.”

Milroe’s rating in the game is 90 overall with 91 speed, 93 acceleration, 75 strength, 92 awareness and 89 jumping. Overall, he is rated No. 71 on EA’s Top 100 and is rated as the fifth-best quarterback. However, having been on the road for SEC Media Days last week, Milroe has not had much time to test out the game, nonetheless know his own rating.

“It’s pretty cool,” Milroe said. “I’m just glad to be in the game. I’ve been waiting for a long time to be a part of the game. I didn’t even know (I am a 90 overall).”

Milroe, in conjuction with The Lab Sports Performance Training Organization, hosted the event which aimed to provide kids from marginalized communities a chance to meet their idol in Milroe.
