Tennessee football flips four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame from Oregon to Vols

Four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame has flipped his commitment from Oregon to Tennessee football.

It’s a major recruiting move at a key position for the Vols offense.

On Sunday, Brame announced his new pledge to sign with Tennessee in the 2025 class. He had been committed to Oregon since June 29.

Since April, Brame took official visits to Tennessee, Oregon, Oklahoma, LSU and Ole Miss, 247Sports reported. He received scholarship offers from at least 35 schools, including most of the SEC.

Brame is a 6-foot-6, 235-pounder from Derby, Kansas. He is the No. 5 tight end and the No. 112 player overall in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports Composite.

As a junior last season, Brame had 46 receptions for 942 yards and 13 TDs.

Brame can sign on Dec. 4, when the early signing period begins. He is the 20th commitment in UT’s 2025 class, which has climbed to No. 5 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.

Brame joins quarterback George MacIntyre, offensive lineman Douglas Utu, safety Lagonza Hayward, defensive lineman Mariyon Dye, wide receiver Travis Smith, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, linebacker Christian Gass, wide receiver Radarious Jackson, edge rusher Jayden Loftin, offensive lineman Nic Moore and tight end Jack Van Dorselaer (all four stars).

The Vols also are bringing in running back Justin Baker, safety Sidney Walton, offensive tackle Antoni Kade Ogumoro, cornerback Tre Poteat, cornerback Dylan Lewis, defensive lineman Charles House, wide receiver Joakim Dodson and star cornerback Tyler Redmond (all three stars).
