A routine football practice turned into a golden memory for a college football player.
Chreign LaFond was grinding through day four of training camp with Navy while his sister, Thea LaFond, was thousands of miles away competing in the triple jump at the Paris Olympics. Chreign was always confident his sister would rise to the occasion but hoped only for her to do her best and have fun.
However, midway through practice, his coach interrupted the session with an incredible announcement.
