FSU football to move to Jacksonville Jaguars practice facility due to field concerns

Florida State football is heading to Jacksonville for practice for the next two days, but it won’t be at the University of North Florida.

According to multiple reports, the Seminoles will practice at the Jacksonville Jaguars facility on Wednesday due to field condition concerns after a recent storm.

FSU coach Mike Norvell said in his Monday post-practice interview that there are options if the Seminoles are unable to practice at UNF.

“We do have a continuous plan of potentially practicing indoors if we need to,” Norvell said.

“We’re going to see the fields. We’ll see what all that looks like as much of this trip. We’re going to work our butts off when we get there more than anything else.”

The Seminoles will return on Friday. FSU’s second scrimmage will be on Saturday. It is closed to the public.
