UCF lands huge commitment from Cocoa WR Jayvan Boggs

Cocoa wide receiver Jayvan Boggs has committed to UCF’s recruiting class for the Knights 2025 commitment list.

At UCF, Boggs joins Cocoa teammate offensive lineman Jaquez Joiner as a UCF commit. Verbal commitments are nonbinding and the early National Signing Day is not until Dec. 4, the earliest ever football signing period for incoming freshmen.

Boggs, the No. 5 player in the Sentinel’s 2025 Central Florida Super60, was initially committed to Ohio State and flipped to Missouri before making his most recent change to the Knights. Boggs broke out last season, turning in a stellar year for the two-time Class 2S defending champion Tigers. The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver caught 93 passes from standout quarterback Brady Hart, totaling 23 touchdowns and 1,493 yards.

Boggs posted to his twitter account @Jayvan_Boggs, “We staying home!!”

Boggs was the Florida Dairy Farmer’s Mr. Football a year ago. His route running is precise and he has terrific hands. Whether he’s going up with a defender and high-pointing the ball or finding himself in double coverage, he makes the catch. Boggs averaged 99 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game.

UCF will have a fight on its hands to keep the talented receiver in its grasp, as numerous colleges will continue to try and lure the standout.
