The Patriots right now at their win total is at 4.5, the lowest in the NFL below the Broncos and the Panthers at 5.5, but 4.5, Charles, how does that make you feel?
It makes me feel that to me when I see 4.5, it screams that the prediction here is that their offense is just absolutely nothing, which I don’t think that’s impossible, but I just think they have enough to get past 4.5.
I’m still concerned about just for this year kind of how the wide receiver room plays out.
I don’t know if it’ll be actually good this year.
I like Jalen Polk Kendrick Bos, a solid player, but still, I wouldn’t say that that’s actually a good group.
And then you’re dealing with Jacoby Ro and Dr May rookie quarterbacks.
There absolutely is like a disaster scenario where this goes really poorly this year, but I just think they have enough baseline competency to get over 4.5.
Even Jacoby Peret, if they have a situation where he ends up starting, he’s shown that he’s the best quarterback Cleveland’s had in the past, you know, 10 years, probably that stretch that he had when he was in for Deshaun Watson.
So, uh, if they decide to sit May, that’s a viable option.
And even if May plays, I think there’s going to be enough playmaking there, we can get over like four wins.
It seems really, really low to me, especially with, uh, the hope they’re going to get on defense.
Right?
What you said with the defense, like, even without Christian Bmore is like, this is a easy to me top 10 defense.
Like, I think that’s an easy call.
It’s one of my takes that I’d actually be like, yeah, I feel really good about that take, I think all three levels have good players, solid players that fit the scheme…
