Ranking the coaches at every former Pac-12 football program

The Pac-12 would have been really good this year, because it was really good last year and has schools with retooled rosters in 2024. Alas, the Pac-12 has been broken up, its schools moving to different conferences this year. Before the new college football season begins, let’s allow ourselves to imagine what it would be like if we were previewing a 2024 Pac-12 football season. Let’s rank the coaches at the 10 former Pac-12 football schools who will compete elsewhere. Therefore, Washington State’s and Oregon State’s coaches aren’t part of this discussion. Here we go:

10. DEION SANDERS, COLORADO BUFFALOES

All hat, no cattle. Deion shows no signs of lifting Colorado to a higher level. The publicity has not translated into improvement. Deion is at the bottom of the list among the 10 coaches of schools which played in the Pac-12 last year and have moved to new conferences this year.

9. DESHAUN FOSTER, UCLA BRUINS

We don’t know if Foster is good, but he hasn’t proved that he is actively bad the way Deion Sanders has. Therefore, Foster is ahead of Coach Prime.

8. TROY TAYLOR, STANFORD CARDINAL
