Vote for Upstate’s top offensive player headed into 2024 SCHSL football season

Here’s a chance to vote for the Upstate’s 2024 high school football preseason offensive player of the year. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order. No more than one player per team. Multiple votes are allowed. The poll will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, the eve of Week Zero opening games.

Colten Bagwell, Wren: Bagwell had 1,534 passing yards and 1,166 rushing yards with a combined 28 touchdowns.

KB Henderson, Blue Ridge: Henderson ran for 1,332 yards (6.3 per carry) with 17 touchdowns and had seven 100-yard games.

Marquise Henderson, Belton-Honea Path: Henderson rushed for 2,336 yards, 11.1 per carry, and scored 37 touchdowns as Belton-Honea Path went 13-1.

Lincoln Huskey, Boiling Springs: Huskey passed for 1,701 yards with 14 touchdowns.

Ladainnian Martin, J.L. Mann:  Martin ran for 1,580 yards (9.3 per carry) and scored 17 touchdowns at Greer while battling through injury.

Jaiden McDowell, Gaffney: McDowell rushed for 1,313 with 13 touchdowns and had with 548 yards on 45 catches with four more TDs,

Jaylen McGill, Mountain View Prep: McGill rushed for 1,792 yards, 8.7 per carry and scored 30 total touchdowns at Broome.

KD Patterson, T.L. Hanna: Patterson rushed for 1,682 yards with 28 TD as Hanna went 10-2. He had 215 yards and two TDs in the final game against Dutch Fork.

Jackson Repp, Christ Church: Repp led the state, all classifications, with 27 touchdowns catches among his 63 receptions for 1,510 yards.

Tre Segarra, Byrnes: Segarra ran for 1,115 yards (6.7 per carry) with 12 touchdowns and caught 23 passes for another four TDs.

Mikkel Skinner, Riverside: Skinner had 1,229 yards from scrimmage last season with 15 touchdowns as Riverside’s leading receiver and rusher.

Jordan Sink, Woodmont: Sink passed for 1,873 yards with 16 touchdowns.
