Taft senior defensive end Drayden Pavey, isn’t just one of the top defensive linemen in Greater Cincinnati, he’s one of the top in the country. Led by Pavey on the line, Taft went 9-3 last season and only allowed an average of 14 points per game, including just 44 points allowed in five Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference games.
The Purdue commit and three-star prospect played in nine games last year, accumulating 53 total tackles (35 solo) with 7.5 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss with a forced fumble.

Who is Purdue commit Drayden Pavey?
Drayden Pavey measures in at 6-foot-3, 305 pounds and is a Purdue commit, choosing the Boilermakers among other offers from Indiana, Wisconsin, Cincinnati and Kentucky.
A senior, Pavey will join Lakota West linebacker Grant Beerman in the 2025 Purdue signing class.

According to the recruiting site 247Sports, Pavey is the No. 49 player in Ohio in the 2025 class and among defensive linemen comes in as the No. 103 player in the nation for the class. Pavey comes in as a three-star recruit by 247’s ranking and its composite ranking.
