Uh overrated Alabama.

And this is really simple for me.

Uh Let’s take the, let’s take the logo, the jersey, let’s take the name Alabama out of this equation.

And then I tell you, OK, we have a team that’s been amongst the best in the country that is now going through a massive change in culture and coaching and culture is a huge part of why I mentioned this.

I had the chance to hang out with Kaitlin de Bo a little bit at the national championship game for Yahoo Sports.

And I talked to him, all the players, talk to me about the fact that he doesn’t yell, for example, just a very clear, never yell.

So I asked him, I said, is that real?

And he said, yeah, you know, is, is a general rule, of course, never is a hard word.

But as a general rule, I don’t want to treat players that way.

I don’t want to, I don’t wanna have that side to that type of conversation.

I want to control my emotions so that I can ask them to control theirs.

I think about that and I think about what a difference that is gonna be for every kid in that locker room and adapting to a new culture in a stacked sec is something that I don’t take for granted.

Also, as good as Washington was last year, Caitlin de Bo, like this hire made sense, right?

You hired the reigning coach of the year.

The coach of the year also had the eighth overall pick in a quarterback, right?

And a top wide receiver and an offense, it was absolutely spectacular with an offense coordinator that’s now in the NFL.

Like everything came together for Washington in a really amazing, beautiful way.
