Eagles dominate Heritage in season opener

The East Forsyth High School football team got off to a good start to the season with a 44-0 win over visiting Heritage High School on Friday night.

Eagles quarterback Bryce Baker, who has committed to play for UNC, was 18-for-22 passing with three touchdown passes. JP Gilchrist caught four passes, including two touchdowns, for 101 yards. Jaire Richburg caught four passes for 72 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Jalin Murry caught five passes for 68 yards.

Running the ball, Murry had 74 yards rushing on nine carries and scored one touchdown. Cannen Rottweiler ran nine times for 50 yards.
