USC Trojans fans need to become familiar with our new conference foes in the Big Ten. The best quarterbacks we will compete with are a mix of new and old faces around the conference. While we stand behind our reasoning for our selections and their positions on this list, it’s clearly subjective and clearly up for debate. While the list will not resemble what defenses in the Pac-12 had to face last year, there are some guys who can sling the ball in the Big Ten.

Wolverines Wire offered this look at quarterback Alex Orji’s offseason. Here’s a brief glimpse into what Orji has been doing leading up to the USC-Michigan game on Sept. 21:

“So where does he feel like he is in his development? Where has he made the biggest strides this offseason?

“I would say comfortability with my mechanics, building that muscle memory as well as comfortability with raising my voice sometimes, being that leader that all of us quarterbacks are,” Orji said. “It’s been awesome to see how the guys rally around us knowing how a guy like (Davis Warren) has been here the longest of anyone in the room, how he’s able to — a lot of guys have seen what he’s been through with the program and the way he conducts his business, you don’t really have to doubt what he’s saying. You never really think twice about what he’s saying, you know what he’s about. Been good for all of us to kind of step into those leadership roles that comes with being a quarterback.”

Let’s look at Orji and the rest of the quarterbacks USC will face on its 2024 schedule as a new member of the Big Ten Conference:
