DirecTV customers were met with an unpleasant surprise when it came to Week 1 of the college football season: a blackout, one that involves all Disney-owned channels (including the ESPN family of networks).

That has left DirecTV customers wondering how to watch college football in Week 2 and beyond, especially considering how much of the sport ABC, ESPN and more cover.

Though DirecTV and Disney are still disputing carrier fees (causing the former to drop all Disney-owned channels on its service), there are other ways for college football fans to watch games, at least until a resolution is reached. And, as is increasingly becoming the case, the answer involves streaming.

With that, here’s how DirecTV fans can watch college football with Fubo.

What channels are blacked out on DirecTV?

All Disney-owned channels are blacked out on DirecTV. For college football fans, that means games cast on ABC (in certain markets) and the ESPN family of networks (including the ACC and SEC networks) will be blacked out.

Those include:

ESPNews

ACC Network

SEC Network

The blackout also includes ABC stations in markets across the country in which ABC owns the station. That means any customers in the following markets won’t be able to watch ABC:
