So, to learn more about the Badgers ahead of this Saturday, we here at Roll Tide Wire got the opportunity to talk to Ben Kenney of Badgers Wire about what Alabama fans should expect going into Week 3.

Q: While a limited sample size, are there any noticeable differences that Tyler Van Dyke has brought at quarterback compared to what Wisconsin has had in recent years?

A: “The only real comparison can be made to Tanner Mordecai in 2023, since the Graham Mertz era from 2020-2022 was under an entirely different regime. But it’s hard to tell any real difference between Van Dyke and Mordecai through two weeks. Van Dyke has been up-and-down, as Mordecai was last season. There have been flashes, mainly in the first half against South Dakota last weekend. But his season has been plagued by inconsistency. So, to answer the question, no, there isn’t a noticeable difference. Both Van Dyke and Mordecai have the potential to make game-changing plays, but neither have done so consistently.
