Cade Klubnik delivered one of the most impressive performances in recent Clemson history during the Tigers’ 66-20 win over Appalachian State.
The junior quarterback led the offense to a commanding victory with a seven-touchdown performance, all of which came in the first half. Klubnik threw for five touchdowns and added two more on the ground, effectively putting the game out of reach before halftime. His play set the tone for a dominant showing from Clemson, as they overwhelmed the Mountaineers early on.
Klubnik’s precision and leadership were on full display, starting with a 76-yard touchdown pass to freshman Bryant Wesco, followed by a series of scoring drives that showcased his versatility. He connected with Jake Briningstool and Antonio Williams for key touchdown passes and showed his ability to make plays on the ground.
