When Michigan has the ball: The Wolverines’ offense has been dreadful through two weeks, as it ranks No. 103 in the nation in scoring, at 21 points per game. The passing offense has struggled mightily as quarterback Davis Warren has taken over for J.J. McCarthy. Although it’s not all his fault — he’s working behind an offensive line that has five new starters and throwing to a pair of first-year starters at receiver — he hasn’t done much to elevate the unit as he ranks No. 18 out of 18 Big Ten passers in yards per game (161.5).
