North Carolina returns to the field in Week 3 as they host NC Central on Saturday night, looking to stay unbeaten.
After beating Minnesota on the road in Week 1, the Tar Heels took down Charlotte in the home opener last week. Now, they have a game against an FCS opponent before things start to get tougher at the end of September.
This is certainly a game the Tar Heels should win and one where they really can use to craft their skills and get everyone on the same page. When the Tar Heels do hit the field on Saturday, they will do so in their Carolina Blue uniform tops.
The program released its uniform combination for Saturday’s game as they will wear a white helmet, blue top, and white pants. This is the first time they have worn this combination this season.
As you see in the reveal above, UNC is going with that fall theme including offensive lineman Willie Lampkin.
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 6 p.m. in Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill as the Tar Heels look to go 3-0.
