For the first time this season, Texas A&M will have a chance to prove itself in a divisional matchup on Saturday. The Aggies face off with the Florida Gators in an SEC battle at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Texas A&M comes into the game following a big victory over McNeese State, something the oddsmakers saw coming from a mile away. Texas A&M care of business, bagging a 52-10 win. The game was pretty much decided by halftime, when the score had already reached 38-0.

Texas A&M’s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Le’Veon Moss led the charge by rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Another passer making a difference was Conner Weigman, who threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Texas A&M moved up and down the field and finished the game with 529 total yards. That’s the most yards in a game for the Aggies since last September.

Meanwhile, Florida finally caught a break after six consecutive losses dating back to last season. The Gators put a hurting on Samford at home to the tune of 45-7. For those keeping track at home, that’s the biggest victory for the team since Sept. 9, 2023.

DJ Lagway was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 456 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Eugene Wilson III, who picked up 141 receiving yards and a touchdown.
