Oregon officially sets its 2024-25 men’s basketball schedule

Duck fans are going to have to get used to playing the Beavers early in the season and not just in football either.

Oregon men’s basketball has its 2024-25 schedule officially set with the season opener Nov. 4 against UC-Riverside. The Ducks will then host Montana (Nov. 8), Portland (Nov. 12) and Troy (Nov. 17) before venturing out on the road to Corvallis Nov. 21 to play the Beavers.

They’ll stay out on the road Nov. 26, 27 and 30 to Las Vegas to play in the Players Era Festival where the Ducks will play Texas A&M, San Diego State and Creighton.

In another sign of the times, Oregon opens Big Ten Conference play Dec. 4 and 8 when they go to USC and UCLA, respectively.

Non-conference action isn’t done yet, however.

Oregon then hosts Stephen F. Austin Dec. 15 before going to San Jose to play Stanford Dec. 21. Finally, the Ducks host Weber State Dec. 29 to end the non-conference slate.

Big Ten action gets fully underway after the first of the year. Oregon hosts Illinois, Maryland, Purdue, Washington, Nebraska, Northwestern, Rutgers, USC and Indiana.

The road slate is a tough one as the Ducks have to travel to Ohio State, Penn State, Minnesota, UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
