Illinois wins as Nebraska fails to convert fourth-and-29 in overtime

Illinois went into Nebraska for a Big Ten game on Friday and upset the Cornhuskers, 31-24 in overtime.

The Illini scored easily on their overtime drive after Nebraska opted to play defense when it won the coin toss.

The Cornhuskers had no such luck on their chance to extend the game.

Quarterback Dylan Raiola was sacked multiple times and the Cornhuskers also were called for a penalty.

After starting the drive at the Illinois 25, Nebraska wound up looking at a third-and-42.

Yes, folks, third-42.

The Cornhusker completed a pass for 13 yards but Illinois sacked Dylan Raiola again on fourth-and-29 to seal the Big Ten upset.
