Player of the game: Carson Kirby. The Bixby junior quarterback had a great night while leading the Spartans’ offense. Kirby was efficient through the air, completing 20 of 27 passes for 199 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 47 rushing yards.

Top moment: Bixby senior running back Bode Cairl ran for a 28-yard touchdown with 11:20 left in the second quarter. It had been a tight battle up to that point, but Cairl’s run gave the Spartans some breathing room, and they cruised from there and didn’t allow a score until Choctaw senior quarterback Cash Williams ran for a 17-yard touchdown to cut Bixby’s lead to 55-20 with 5:58 left in the game.

Read option: Cash Williams, Mayor Morgan lead Choctaw’s offense in loss. Williams completed 23 of 36 passes for 298 yards and a score and also had a touchdown run. Morgan, a junior, had 14 carries for 48 yards and a touchdown and hauled in four catches for 106 yards and a score.
