Is Texas A&M accurately positioned in the newest NCAA 1-134 re-rank?

Texas A&M (3-1, 1-0 SEC) will finish out the month of September against Arkansas this weekend for a final time in AT&T Stadium, as the series venue will change after this season for the first time in more than a decade.

Coming off an underwhelming but highly competitive 26-20 win over Bowling Green last weekend, it is anticipated that redshirt freshman quarterback Marcel Reed will make his third career start as Conner Weigman continues to rehab from his shoulder injury. In his second start against the Falcons, Reed threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 91 yards.

Arkansas, which is also 3-1 and 1-0 in SEC play, is averaging over 40-plus points per game. Like most SEC teams this year outside of Texas, it has plenty of holes to exploit if Elko and his staff properly prepare the team in practice this week.

Ahead of the Week 5 slate, USA TODAY re-ranked all 134 FBS teams, as the SEC once again dominates the Top 25 with eight programs. However, Texas A&M is on the outside looking in despite being ranked 24th in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 poll. Here is where every Southeastern Conference team is ranked in the newest re-rank. You can view the entire 1-134 rankings here.
