Fans at sporting events are told to keep their heads on a swivel. One Oklahoma football player should have heeded that advice when the Sooners took the field against Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama, on Saturday.
As the Sooners players took the field to warm up ahead of the SEC contest with the Tigers, an Auburn cheerleader collided with an Oklahoma player running onto the field. The cheerleader appeared to be doing cartwheels to excite the crowd and ran into the unsuspecting player.
The video was taken by a fan from one of the end zones, and the number of the player who was hit is not clear. He did have a couple of teammates help him get back to his feet. A fellow cheerleader checked on the Auburn cheerleader and looked to be alright.
