No. 8 Oregon will make its Big Ten debut against a former Pac-12 foe on Saturday night. The Ducks will go on the road to face the UCLA Bruins in historic Rose Bowl Stadium.

After a couple of sleepy starts in its first two games, Oregon picked up the pace against in-state rival Oregon State in Week 3. The Ducks absolutely blasted the Beavers, 49-14, and their offense finally started firing on all cylinders. Former Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel hit his stride, throwing for 291 yards and two touchdowns while completing 20 of his 24 passes. He also added 64 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Oregon was off last weekend, which gave coach Dan Lanning and his staff the opportunity to prepare for their Big Ten debut.

On the other sideline, UCLA has had a rough couple of weeks. In Week 3, Indiana came to Los Angeles and throttled the Bruins on their own turf, 42-13. Then, UCLA had to visit Baton Rouge last weekend, where it put forth a better effort in a 34-17 loss to LSU.

Not much has gone right for the Bruins in the early going, but their rushing attack is especially concerning. UCLA has rushed for just 181 yards all season, and its leading rusher is T.J. Harden, who has 72 yards on 28 carries. That could mean trouble against a formidable Oregon defensive front.
