Jeremiah Smith has done it again. The Ohio State freshman receiver snared a touchdown catch with one hand for the second consecutive week to give the Buckeyes a lead over Iowa.

Smith caught the four-yard score with only his right hand while holding Hawkeyes cornerback Deshaun Lee off with his left.

The highlight catch finished off a nine-play, 86-yard drive on Ohio State’s first possession of the second half. Prior to his touchdown grab, Smith hauled in a 53-yard pass to get to the Iowa 4-yard line.

Last week against Michigan State, Smith made two one-handed catches against the same two Spartans defensive backs on Ohio State’s final drive before halftime.

The first one was a leaping 27-yard reception between two MSU defenders. The second grab went for a touchdown after Smith beat his defender at the line and dashed past him to reach out for a throw from quarterback Will Howard.

The second one-hander went for a Buckeyes touchdown and a 24-7 lead going into halftime.

Against Iowa, Smith has four catches for 89 yards and a touchdown, along with a 14-yard rush. Ohio State has a comfortable lead in the fourth quarter.
