Texas A&M-Missouri ‘College GameDay’ predictions: Who picked Aggies, Tigers?

Texas A&M football is preparing for a top-25 battle in a big SEC home matchup against No. 9 Missouri.

The No. 21 Aggies (4-1, 2-0 SEC) are coming off a fourth-quarter comeback victory over Arkansas 21-17 in Week 5. Quarterback Marcel Reed, who has been filling in for usual starter Conner Weigman, connected with Tre Watson for a 5-yard touchdown with nine minutes remaining to give the Aggies the victory. Weigman is a game-time decision.

Likewise, Missouri (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is coming off a close win over Vanderbilt at home, a 30-27 double-overtime victory that fell into place when the Commodores’ kicker missed the game-tying field. Texas A&M and Missouri have only met three times as SEC foes and 16 times overall, with the Aggies leading the all-time series 9-7.

The teams moved together from the Big 12 to the SEC in 2012, likely catapulting the conference realignment, which has taken off over the last couple of seasons.
