Pair of future Wisconsin opponents move into top 5 in latest US LBM Coaches Poll

Wisconsin defeated Purdue at home Saturday 52-6, snapping a two-game streak and improving to 3-2 on the season. Although the team built positive momentum with an impressive win, it remains absent from the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.

The US LBM Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the college football regular season and the Badgers have yet to be ranked this season.

After a week full of upsets, the top five was reshuffled greatly. Texas remained at No. 1, Ohio State moved up a spot to No. 2, Oregon climbed three spots to No. 3, Georgia rose a spot to No. 4 and Penn State leaped three spots to No. 5. Both Alabama (No. 7) and Tennessee (No. 9) fell out of the top five.
