Hurricane Milton: Florida Atlantic offering free tickets to Saturday’s football game

Here is a break for anyone affected by Hurricanes Milton or Helene: free tickets for Saturday night’s Florida Atlantic football game.

Florida Atlantic Athletics has announced it will offer complimentary football tickets to Saturday’s home game against North Texas “for Florida residents impacted or displaced by recent hurricanes that have affected the state.”

The game at FAU Stadium starts at 7 p.m., and will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

Florida residents displaced under evacuation orders, or otherwise impacted by either hurricane, can claim up to four tickets via this link. A valid, state-issued ID is required to claim the tickets.

“We extend our deepest condolences to those impacted this week by the devastating weather in our state,” said FAU Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White. “Our priority has always been to give back to the communities that mean so much to us and we hope that Saturday’s game provides a few hours of normalcy for those impacted.”

Saturday’s football game was previously announced as Tri-County Appreciation Day with the Owls honoring organizations across the counties of Palm Beach, Dade and Broward that positively impact their communities.
