Wisconsin fails to crack ‘receiving votes’ section of US LBM Coaches Poll after Rutgers win

Wisconsin took down Rutgers 42-7 on Saturday, winning its second consecutive game and improving to 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in Big Ten play. Although the team has now outscored their last two opponents by a combined score of 94-13, it remains on the outside looking in on the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.

The US LBM Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the college football regular season and the Badgers have still yet to crack the top 25.

After Week 7, Texas remained at No. 1, while Oregon moved up a spot to No. 2 following their win over Ohio State. Additionally, Penn State rose two spots to No. 3 after they defeated USC, Georgia stayed at No. 4 and Ohio State rounded out the top five, falling three spots.
