Oregon Ducks pick up prediction to flip 4-star Baylor LB Kaleb Burns

When you win a game as big as the Oregon Ducks did on Saturday night, and have as many top-end recruits on campus as Dan Lanning did, positive things are sure to come.

So far, we’ve already seen the Ducks start to build some real momentum on the recruiting trail following their 32-31 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes over the weekend, with the commitment of 4-star DL Tomuhini Topui and the flip of former USC 4-star DL Viliami Moala. It appears that there will be more where that comes from as well, with On3’s Steve Wiltfon dropping a prediction on Monday that Oregon will also flip Baylor 4-star linebacker Kaleb Burns.

Burns, the No. 34 LB and No. 332 overall player in the 2025 class, was in Eugene over the weekend for the win over the Buckeyes. Standing at 6-foot-0, 220 pounds, Burns also possesses elite speed that the Ducks have emphasized under the Lanning staff, running the 100m and 200m in track and field.

Burns has been committed to Baylor since July of 2024, but the Ducks offered him a scholarship last month and quickly got him on campus to check out Eugene.

If Wiltfong is correct in his prediction, it appears that the visit went very well.
