The FFL team discusses a few headlines ahead of Sunday Night Football featuring the Cowboys vs. Eagles.

JASON FITZ: Let’s give something we’re feasting on for this Eagles, Cowboys game. Matt Harmon, you’re up first. Save me from myself. What do you got?
MATT HARMON: Yeah, please God, pass the baton here, Fitz. Look, this is yet another great critical important NFC game, which is, like I said, important to the playoffs. MVP odds, all that stuff. You know what we’re really here to talk about, we’re here to talk about wide receiver play, just like last week. It was a great spot with the Eagles and the 49ers.
It is a fantastic spot here with the Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. And I’m curious, who’s going to have the bigger game between AJ Brown versus CeeDee Lamb? Let’s start with the AJ Brown part of it. Like I mentioned earlier, when Dallas Goedert plays, like AJ Brown actually does tend to concentrate the targets more. And it makes sense.
Also in this game, the Dallas Cowboys play single high coverage at the second highest rate in the NFL, according to fantasy points data. And AJ Brown, when you single him up, when you just play man coverage like that with little safety help over the top, he’s going to absolutely work you over.
And he’s been, for AJ Brown standards, kind of quiet the last three games. Again, when Dallas Goedert has been out. I think he is going to come out and absolutely go to work on the Dallas Cowboys this week.
But then you think about CeeDee Lamb. Like, how can you shy away from him? He leads the NFL in receiving yards since week nine. It’s really hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn’t absolutely smash the Dallas Cowboys.
And like, I love what the Cowboys are doing. You’re so right earlier in the show, Fitz, to say that Mike McCarthy is really figured this offense out. They’ve moved CeeDee Lamb around a ton. They’ve gotten him in different spots, except when they play the Eagles.
