JASON FITZ: In the spirit of standing here at the College Football Championship, I keep thinking about what about next year? We’re going to get an expanded playoff next year with 12 teams, and it has me wondering what would the dream Final Four look like in 2025? And the answer is pretty simple, because I love drama.

So at number four, I’m giving you Ole Miss. Why? Because I just walked through this entire process. I need Lane Kiffin here. I need the drama that comes with whatever Lane is going to say, which also means at number three, I need Alabama. Like, I need Alabama in the Final Four because now I need Lane versus Saban. This is simple. Again, follow me. I’m going Real Housewives on all of this. If I’ve got Lane and I’ve got Bama, now all of a sudden, I get a little bit of that. But I need a big market. I need something else that’s going to get everybody interested.

That’s why Texas is back. I’m putting Texas in into my dream Final Four next year, because why? We want people to watch the thing, and everybody wants this. But here’s the twist. Want to get a little magic? Let’s have a two quarterback Texas team next year where Arch takes some of the snaps from Quinn Ewers just to make things weird.

And we got space for one more. Now, do I want Michigan back? Do I want Washington back? No, but I need somebody from the Big Ten. So let’s put Ohio State back into this thing just so that we get more balance and we can sprinkle the even competitiveness across the landscape of the college football playoff. That’s my dream four for next year, for now.
