[AUDIO LOGO]MATT HARMON: Pittsburgh Steelers, big question for them, do they have something better planned than a Mason Rudolph v Kenny Pickett camp battle? Do they have something better than that up their sleeve? They better because that is way too uninspiring of an answer for this team. A new quarterback would really juice up a lot of the options here. We like George Pickens. We like Diontae Johnson. We like the running backs here. Pat Freiermuth is a pretty good tight end. Again, it just comes down to the quarterback position here.
And I personally like the hire of Arthur Smith for these players as well. So we’ll see what happens. But it all– again, this is another team that comes down to their quarterback solution.
DALTON DEL DON: Justin Fields, I forget the connections. But somehow there’s connection there, of coaching staff. Maybe Tomlin loves him or something.
MATT HARMON: Yeah.
DALTON DEL DON: If I had to bet now, I’m telling you, Fields is going to the Steelers is what it sounds like.
MATT HARMON: I have been saying Fields to the Steelers since the end of last season. I’ve been talking about it on this podcast. I think that’s a great solution for them. I think it would be great for Arthur Smith’s offense. And yeah, the connection, I think, that was made was, Adam Schefter reported that, yeah, Mike Tomlin loves Justin Fields. I will just say, not the only thing I heard last week in terms of high-ranking Steelers decision makers loving Justin Fields. So that drumbeat is building in the league. I think that’s a possibility.
And I think that would be a big upgrade for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Look, Justin Fields is not perfect. But Kenny Pickett and Mason…
