4-star DL recruit DJ Sanders commits to Texas A&M over Longhorns, Michigan and Alabama

Texas A&M football head coach Mike Elko is building his defense in the trenches and that was re-emphasized on hump day as he landed another talented defensive line prospect.

According to On3 national recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett, four-star defensive lineman DJ Sanders committed to the Aggies on Wednesday night. Sanders is 6-foot-3, 315 pounds and will graduate from Bellville High School in the Lone Star State next year.

On3 has Sanders ranked as the 79th overall recruit in the Class of 2025, No. 14 in Texas and the eighth-best defensive lineman. Sanders had 18 total offers and chose Texas A&M over half of the programs that were in this year’s College Football Playoff: reigning national champion Michigan and the Longhorns.
