The Gamecocks are looking to rebound after a blowout loss to open the season at home versus Coastal Carolina. Both sides of the ball struggled in the loss as both the run defense and quarterback play struggled.

The Gamecocks are coming off of a fabulous 9-4 season that saw them take the FBS by storm in its first season in college football’s premier level. They became the first team to win a bowl game in its transition year, winning the New Orleans Bowl against Louisiana on a last second field goal.
