Ball State football returns to Scheumann Stadium this week after three consecutive road games.
The Cardinals (1-3, 0-1 MAC) will host the Western Michigan Broncos (1-3, 0-0 MAC) as both teams seek their first conference victories. Ball State enters the matchup on a three-game losing streak, including a 63-7 blowout at the hands of James Madison last week.
Ball State has lost its last two games against Western Michigan and is just 3-7 in the last 10 meetings. This matchup will be the conference opener for Western Michigan but not for Ball State, as the Cardinals opened MAC play on the road against Central Michigan.
