STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football has gotten healthier from the open week.
The Bulldogs (1-4, 0-2 SEC) listed seven players on their weekly injury report, down from the 11 who didn’t play in the previous game at Texas. Most of the help is on defense with cornerback DeAgo Brumfield, safeties Isaac Smith and Chris Keys Jr. and defensive end Kedrick Bingley-Jones all no longer having injury designations. The Bulldogs play at Georgia (4-1, 2-1) on Saturday (3:15 p.m., SEC Network) after an open week.
Georgia ruled out three players on Wednesday: running back Roderick Robinson II, linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. and offensive lineman Tate Ratledge. Wide receiver Colbie Young is also suspended indefinitely as of Wednesday after being arrested on Tuesday.
The SEC newly mandated this season that each team provides injury reports for conference games. The first reports are revealed on Wednesdays and updated daily until the final report 90 minutes before kickoff. The full report is below.
